The Classic Snake Game
Snake is one of the most iconic video games ever made, originally popularized on Nokia phones in the late 1990s. The concept is simple: guide a growing snake around the board, eat food to grow longer, and avoid crashing into walls or your own tail. Despite its simplicity, Snake is endlessly replayable — the challenge scales naturally as your snake grows, making each game slightly different.
How to Play Snake
Press Space (or tap on mobile) to start the game. Use arrow keys or WASD to change direction. On mobile, swipe in the direction you want to move.
Guide the snake to eat the red food dots. Each food eaten increases your score and makes the snake longer. Speed gradually increases as you eat more.
Avoid hitting the walls or your own tail — that's game over! Try to beat your high score and climb the leaderboard.
